OnePlus 6T US Pricing Leaked Before Official Announcement

In just a few hours from now, OnePlus will be unveiling its newest flagship Android smartphone at an event in New York City. Ahead of the big event, an ad for the OnePlus 6T was spotted online, revealing the handset’s US pricing and availability information.

OnePlus 6T US Pricing Revealed

According to the online ad, the OnePlus 6T will be available from $549 in the US from November 1st onwards. While no more details are available currently, it is possible that OnePlus may begin selling the smartphone on its online store on November 1. Apart from the OnePlus store, the 6T is expected to be sold in the US by T-Mobile as well. Since no other manufacturer has launched a smartphone featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor in North America yet, the OnePlus 6T will be the very first smartphone with the feature to go on sale stateside. However, the in-display fingerprint sensor will not be the only headline feature of the OnePlus 6T. As revealed by the leaked spec sheet that we shared with you recently, the smartphone will sport a bigger 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In terms of battery life, the OnePlus 6T is expected to be even more impressive than the current OnePlus 6, all thanks to a beefier 3700mAh capacity cell with Dash Charging support. Another significant difference between the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 6T will be the upgraded 20MP selfie snapper. The rear cameras, however, have not been changed compared to the OnePlus 6. That said, OnePlus has tweaked the camera processing on the 6T to ensure that it provides more impressive results.

The rest of the hardware will be very similar as well. Powering the OnePlus 6T will be Qualcomm’s popular Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor with an Adreno 630 GPU. In terms of memory, the 6T will be available in three different configurations in most markets – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. On the software front, it will run on Android 9.0 Pie-based OxygenOS out of the box.
